Description &Applications	Tribenuron is a herbicide used to control a wide range of broadleaf weeds and grasses in cereals, maize, and other crops. It is a member of the sulfonylurea family of herbicides and is an effective post-emergence herbicide. Tribenuron works by inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is responsible for the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids in plants. This inhibits the growth of weeds and grasses, allowing crops to grow without competition. The mechanism of action of tribenuron and its biochemical and physiological effects are discussed in this paper, as well as its advantages and limitations for lab experiments and future directions.
