Description
Tebuconazole is systemic fungicide with protective and eradicant action effective against various fungal diseases of cereals, vegetable, fruits and plantation. It is a triazole fungicide used agriculturally to treat plant pathogenic fungi.Tebuconazole is used in a number of different popular fungicide products to control fungi, bacteria, and viruses affecting plants. Some of the common fungal and disease problems Tebuconazole is known to treat are rust fungus, sheath blight, leaf spot, and anthracnose.
Though the U.S. Food and Drug Administration considers Tebuconazole fungicide to be safe for humans, it may still pose a risk. Tebuconazole is listed as a possible carcinogen in the United States Environmental Protection Agency Office of Pesticide Programs carcinogen list with a rating of C (possible carcinogen). Its acute toxicity is moderate. According to the World Health Organization toxicity classification, it is listed as III, which means slightly hazardous
