Description &Applications	MCPA Ethyl Ester is a derivative of MCPA which is an herbicide. Mcpa ethyl ester is a transport inhibitor that belongs to the group of agrochemicals. It inhibits the transport of organic solutes and ions across cell membranes, which in turn affects the cellular uptake of nutrients. Mcpa ethyl ester has been shown to cause fetal death in molluscs and is toxic for other phyla such as arthropods and annelids. The chemical can also be found in synthetic pesticides such as glyphosate. The toxicity of this compound has been studied extensively, including its potential effects on human health.
