Description &Applications Chlorpyrifos oxon, also known as CPF-oxon, is an organophosphate insecticide that has been used to control a variety of pests in agricultural and urban settings for over half a century. CPF-oxon is a derivative of chlorpyrifos, an insecticide that has been used since the early 1970s. CPF-oxon has been used in the United States since the late 1980s and is an active ingredient in many products used to control pests. It is a broad spectrum insecticide that is effective against a variety of pests, including mites, aphids, thrips, and caterpillars.
