Description &Applications	Spinetoram is a novel insecticide developed by Dow AgroSciences. It is a member of the spinosyn family of insecticides, which are insecticides derived from naturally occurring compounds found in the soil bacterium Saccharopolyspora spinosa. The spinosyn family of insecticides have been found to have a wide range of insecticidal activity and a low toxicity profile. Spinosyns have been used in agriculture since the late 1990s and are considered to be an important part of integrated pest management.
